ENYYSA 's ODP at Golden Goal Sports Complex

Fort Ann, NY -May 4, 2012 -- The Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association (ENYYSA) Olympic Development Program (ODP), held its inaugural ODP College Showcase at Golden Goal Sports Complex in Fort Ann, a short corner kick from Lake George, on April 27 to 29, 2012.

Top players born in 1995 and 1996 had the opportunity to compete in front of college coaches from the Northeast United States. This showcase offered coaches, specifically collegiate and national staff, with a stage to evaluate and recruit future roster selections. ENYYSA's North and South ODP Teams, both boys and girls squads, competed against OPD teams from neighboring states.
One of highlights of the weekend, happened off the field . On Saturday evening, after a day of great  soccer. Both players and coaches had the unique opportunity to sit-in on  panel discussions, lead by Ray Selvadurai, College Player Process, Manhattan Soccer Club. The panel consisted of college coaches from community colleges and Division 1, 2, and 3 men's and women's programs. The panel provided athletes and coaches valuable information, insight and strategies to assist them with the navigation of the college recruitment process.
