In The Park

Golden Goal has been designed as a youth lacrosse player’s dream come true while the location has been selected to offer the rest of the family a vacation of a lifetime in the 4th most popular U.S. summer tourist destination.

The players will be treated like world-class athletes, playing on perfectly manicured fields in a competitive 6-day tournament for the exclusive Golden Goal Cup.

Each travel team and their coach will stay in a private and secure clubhouse in Athlete Village with the other teams from around the U.S. and the world. Although only athletes and coaches are allowed in the Athlete Village, the Lacrosse Park is open to family members during the daytime activities.

You can visit Golden Goal daily and watch the lacrosse matches along with all of the exciting events throughout the Park. Some of the activities and amenities are designed specifically for parents and siblings including opening and closing ceremonies, Hall of Fame Induction and spectacular Fireworks display.

The Park will have a centrally located Parents Pavilion for dining, entertainment, and relaxation, and an adjacent playground for younger children. Mobile concession stations will be conveniently positioned if you want to stay close to the action and eat in picnic areas overlooking the tournament fields.

On Your Own

As your child is living a lacrosse player’s fantasy, the rest of the family can join in the fun and stay in Lake George, Saratoga Springs, or in one of the many Adirondack Mountain region accommodation options.

When your child is not scheduled for specific activities, you may sign them out at our 24-hour security center and explore the many fun activities and venues the region has to offer.

The Village of Lake George has beach activities, restaurants, quaint shops and site-seeing tours of the picturesque Lake George. Saratoga Springs, just 20 minutes away, is home to Saratoga Racetrack, Saratoga Springs Arts Center, upscale shopping, National & State Parks and a wide-array of activities for the entire family.

If more adventure is your style, try Six Flags Great Escape Theme Park, Splashwater Kingdom Water Park, kayaking down the Hudson River, boating on Lake George or hiking the many trails of Adirondack Mountains.

We encourage you to email our travel coordinator, Charette Dobbs, to explore all the Adirondack Mountain region has to offer and we sincerely invite you to join your child in this truly memorable experience.
